Rains in India

After long scorching heat of summer, India is getting respite with good rains in parts of southern and western India. This is good for primarily agriculture based Indian economy as this would ensure that the farms are cultivated in time.

If rains are good as predicted by Met department then we can expect that India should be able to deliver on good crops to its people and world economy. Let us hope that it helps reduce the strain on world food prices which are going out of roof in most part of world.
